NAWIC'S COMMUNITY SERVICE ~ WOUNDED WARRIOR PROGRAM

WE ARE ADOPTIG TWO FAMILIES THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON TO SHARE IN THE JOY OF GIVING  

Let's put packages under the tree for the wounded soldiers and their family           
                                                                 
                 Committee:  Terri Pasley, Chairman, Dawn Holmes, Mindy Rosito, and Terri Beavers                   

" Family #1:  Soldier was home on R&R from Iraq and was in an accident that shattered his leg.  He has his wife, 2 boys (ages 6 & 8), and 1 girl (age 4).  All 3 children are considered "exceptional family members".  They live on post. 

" Family #2:  Soldier was very badly burned in Iraq.  He is currently undergoing treatment at BAMC.  He has his wife, 2 boys (ages 6 & 8), and 3 girls (ages 6, 4, and 18 months).  They live off post.

Donations of food, clothing, gifts for Christmas
 

DROP-OFF DATES:
December 10, 2008 NAWIC Christmas Party
or
December 18, 19, & 22, 2008 ~ 6 - 7:30pm
Location: HEB parking lot at 1604 & Blanco Road (near the Taco Cabana location)
 

 

Please contact Terri Pasley for a list of items needed for donation.  If you are unable to donate specific items, please feel free to submit a monetary donation. 100% of the funds received will be used to purchase food items for their Christmas dinner, or gifts.
